Strategic Account Manager - South Metro

About the role

Yancey Bros. Co., established in 1914, serves as the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia, focusing on sales, parts, and service for various Caterpillar products including heavy and compact construction equipment and on-highway trucks.

Responsibilities

• Possess prior sales experience within an assigned territory, preferably with small and medium-sized contractors.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers to secure sales.
• Act as the primary liaison between Yancey Bros. Co. and customers, particularly those purchasing Caterpillar Building Construction Products.
• Demonstrate key machine features and benefits to both existing and new customers.
• Develop and maintain an annual forecast and marketing plan for the assigned territory, updating the 90-day forecast monthly.
• Maintain an average of 20 sales calls per day and accurately process machine orders, finance documents, and rental agreements.
• Participate in the company's safety program and work safely.
• Additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Technical School degree in related field required, or equivalent sales and equipment experience.
• Experience: Prior outside sales experience, preferably in an assigned territory, and experience calling on small and medium-sized contractors.
• Skills: High energy, excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and a strong sense of urgency.
