About the role

The Client Partner role is a critical and versatile member of the global sales team, reporting directly to the VP Sales for Northern California. This position involves collaborating with the Milestone extended team, including service delivery, finance, talent acquisition, and executive management, to drive Milestone's solutions in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsibilities

  • Execute account strategy and sales pursuits to accelerate growth for Milestone's business
  • Build and manage your own pipeline to drive opportunities to meet/exceed sales expectations
  • Represent Milestone's services and capabilities to business leaders at various levels, including the C-Suite and across multiple functional groups
  • Develop strategies with key stakeholders to address ongoing business, financial, and technical/IT support needs
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and support

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of sales experience and/or account management, with at least half of that experience in selling IT Managed and Professional Services
  • Prior payments industry experience is required
  • Proven track record of successfully closing high-revenue technology solutions within the payments sector
  • Ability to broker insightful conversations with client executives, elevating discussions from tactical to problem-, solution-, and outcome-centric
  • Strong relationship-building skills, ability to identify key influencers, and build client sponsorship for solutions
  • Experience managing all aspects of the sales process and closing enterprise deals
  • Proficiency in standard sales tools, research, and prospecting tools
  • Understanding of IT services, including service delivery structures, staffing (domestic and international), KPI/SLA, information technology infrastructure library, reporting and analytics
  • Strong network in the San Francisco/Bay Area
