Strategic Account Manager, National
About the role
This role is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with one or more large retail partners and collaborating with field sales and participating dealers to maximize sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow business with assigned national or global retail accounts.
- Partner with retail customers on marketing initiatives, product placement, dealer relationships, and store expansion.
- Assist in developing and implementing retail program guidelines and training for field sales and participating dealers.
- Support the launch of consumer promotions and offers with retail partners.
- Contribute to the development and production of program literature, store displays, and creative collateral.
- Ensure timely and equitable resolution of end-consumer issues through collaboration with field sales, dealers, and retail partners.
- Recommend and implement strategies or programs to increase profitable sales through retail channel partners.
Requirements
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 1 year related experience.
Skills & Competencies: Expert relationship-building, listening, persuasion, negotiation, and time management skills. Knowledge of marketing strategies, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Strong understanding of customer service principles, including needs assessment and satisfaction evaluation. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Substantial industry and product knowledge.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Pay
This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $100,800 - $132,300 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
Schedule
Location Flexibility: Lennox will consider remote work arrangements for qualified internal candidates with demonstrated success in customer-facing sales and account management roles. External hires are expected to be based in the Dallas/Richardson area and will work out of the Richardson Corporate HQ.
