About the role
The Strategic Account Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of dormant accounts, house accounts, and inbound leads, transforming them into long-term, fully engaged client relationships. The revenue target for this position is $750K to $1M annually.
Responsibilities
- Reactivating dormant accounts and converting house accounts into managed relationships
- Working inbound leads with speed, clarity, and consistent follow-through
- Building a real book of business, with a target of $750K to $1M+ in annual revenue
- Running proactive outreach by phone, email, and video to surface marketing calendars, upcoming events, and new project opportunities
- Quoting, sourcing, and presenting branded merchandise that fits each client's brand, budget, and mission
- Building ideation decks and product recommendations that feel thoughtful, not templated
- Managing your pipeline cleanly so nothing falls through the cracks
- Coinciding with our internal team, suppliers, and outside partners from quote to delivery
- Representing HealthMerch at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
- Closing the loop on every project, every time
Requirements
- You communicate clearly and directly

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development
- Experience converting cold or dormant accounts into active revenue is a plus
- Experience with promotional products or branded merchandise is preferred
- Comfortable using CRM tools, sourcing platforms, and standard sales technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
