Strategic Account Manager, Army & SOCOM
About the role
This new Strategic Account Manager will champion OnLogic's growth and expansion across the Army and Special Operations Command (SOCOM) portfolios. Working in close alignment with the Vice President, Public Sector, you will help lead the charge in positioning OnLogic as the premier hardware provider for modern defense infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential new customers while managing and developing existing relationships within the Army and SOCOM communities, with an emphasis on the Organic Industrial Base and this ecosystem.
- Develop unique selling propositions and sales strategies to meet targets and expand the company's global customer base.
- Partner with Engineering and Sales teams to identify new product opportunities based on customer feedback and tactical and operational unit requirements.
- Manage key accounts post-sale, ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions and programmatic support.
- Create business proposals, lead initial negotiations, and close deals as part of a collaborative team.
- Identify, organize, and travel to industry events, trade shows, and operational units to strengthen OnLogic's market presence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (equivalent professional/military experience will be considered).
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development with Government or DoD customers.
- Leadership experience within the U.S. Army or Special Operations Command (SOCOM) may be considered in lieu of traditional corporate sales experience.
- Understanding and/or knowledge of Industrial Compute or rugged compute on the edge in austere environments.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (globally and domestically).
- Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now and in the future.

- You have a deep understanding of the Army and SOF markets, and you instinctively see how OnLogic's rugged hardware can directly enhance mission fulfillment at the tactical edge.
- You see the potential for digital transformation. You know the Army's Organic Industrial Base inside and out. You can walk into a major depot, identify operational gaps, and clearly articulate how Industrial IT/OT solutions will modernize their workflow.
- You speak the language of defense procurement. You have a strong grasp of Army acquisition processes. Whether your background is backed by program management or contracting disciplines, you can navigate complex government buying cycles with ease.
- You bring 5+ years of experience with a demonstrated track record of scaling revenue. You are motivated by complex challenges and possess a natural ability to build long-term, high-value technical relationships.

Benefits
The On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is $170,000 to $200,000 ($110,500 to $130,000 base salary). We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles. A competitive Salary based upon your experience and the requirements of the role.
