About the Role
As a Strategic Account Executive II, you will negotiate long-term agreements with key decision-makers—such as building managers, owners, attorneys, and developers—to bring Xfinity services to multifamily properties. This role focuses on securing new business opportunities, renewing existing agreements, and managing large-scale property portfolio relationships with a consultative, top-down sales approach.
Responsibilities
- Secure new business opportunities, including New Build and Winback right-of-entry agreements.
- Renew existing agreements with multifamily prospects and ensure accuracy in all associated documentation.
- Manage multi-site, large-scale property portfolio relationships.
- Serve as an expert on advanced MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) product sets designed for multifamily clients.
- Implement a consultative sales approach for MDU growth opportunities, such as new construction deals.
- Negotiate "Bulk" (amenity) Xfinity services as well as non-bulk contracts.
- Make presentations to property owners, developers, employees, and homeowner associations.
- Attend in-person meetings to maintain high visibility for Comcast.
- Secure marketing rights and other terms favorable to Comcast.
- Develop and maintain consultative relationships with clients to understand their unique needs.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners to deliver standout products and solutions.
- Gain proficiency in contract negotiation, presentation skills, CRM software, and relevant tools.
- Keep senior leadership informed of market dynamics and industry changes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing leads, inquiries, and customer experience issues.
- Build robust business cases supported by financial modeling.
- Manage sales funnel, opportunities, and forecasts for accuracy.
- Train and mentor AE1s while collaborating with AE3s and National Account Managers.
- Review assigned territory to ensure periodic contact with all customers.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and business quality objectives.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
- Adhere to Comcast’s Operating Principles in all aspects of the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in large account sales, consultative selling, and identifying sales opportunities.
- Strong negotiation, cold calling, and presentation skills.
