Account Executive II
About the role
As an Account Executive at Slang AI, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward. Collaborating closely with the Head of Sales and your manager, you will be integral to our rapid growth phase. You will work within the Sales department, engaging with various internal teams, such as Product and Customer Experience, to ensure a cohesive customer journey. Occasional travel may be required for attending conferences or company offsite meetings. Additionally, you will leverage sales technology to enhance productivity and connectivity with prospects and with your teammates.
Responsibilities
- Proactively prospecting and closing new business opportunities.
- Actively listening to expertly uncover business impact, quantify value, and position Slang as uniquely qualified to deliver those outcomes.
- Expanding both existing and new market segments strategically.
- Managing your sales pipeline to ensure quality multi-threading with key stakeholders, driving urgency of purchase, and navigating the buying process to ensure a predictable and steady flow of closed deals.
- Leverage AI to innovate and drive process efficiency and achieve business objectives.
- Working closely with the Implementation and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and expansion of existing accounts you have worked with.
- Consistently achieving and surpassing monthly sales quotas and weekly top-of-funnel metrics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Described by others as a self starter, hunter, closer, curious, resourceful, and resilient.
- The ability to speak directly to a prospect’s business problems, understand the industry, and act as a consultant.
- Grit: You give your very best in everything you do and take ownership of the outcomes.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced and ever-evolving startup environment and excels under pressure.

Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS or hospitality (Hotels or restaurants) is a plus.
