Strategic Account Executive- Healthcare Mkts (PBM)
About the role
RxBenefits is hiring Strategic Account Executives (SAE’s) to serve the Hospital and tribal entity markets along with other clients with in-house pharmacies. This role directly supports broker consultants and clients, including Human Resources and In-house pharmacy leadership and staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Builds and grows relationships with brokers and clients by offering strategic solutions to hospital pharmacy challenges.
- Performs proactive utilization and trend analysis to identify solutions that assist in managing and reducing drug spend.
- Plays a major advisory role by providing client consultation on RxBenefits and/or PBM services and products.
- Creates plan design strategies that effectively align with the goals of the HR, finance, and the pharmacy teams.
- Buys collaborative partnership with broker consultant and hospital (tribal) staff to promote maximization of in-house pharmacy capabilities.
- Understands the client's organization and key contacts, products/services and client initiatives.
- Ongoing awareness of hospital (tribal) landscape and in-house pharmacy.
- Understanding of 340B and the overall impacts on the entity.
- Interacts accurately and timely with client deliverables; assists in new client onboarding, facilitates in-house pharmacy setup for new and existing clients, initiates requests for benefit plan changes, produces the expected monthly and quarterly reports.
Required Skills / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years in a similar role with experience in a related industry which includes PBM, pharmacy consulting, pharmacy, hospital/healthcare.
- Professional experience with 340B and/or GPO fee schedules.
- Professional experience supporting hospital personnel and in-house pharmacies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Possesses a deep knowledge of marketplace; carriers, underwriting requirements & the benefits/services they offer.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Employee Benefits insurance with an ability to read, analyze and interpret industry policies and contract documents.
- Shows excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Displays strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment is critical.
- Person must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently with limited supervision or within a group or team.
Pay
The anticipated hiring range for this role is $96,000 to $125,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The final salary offered to the selected candidate may vary from the posted range due to individual qualifications.
