StorQuest Assistant Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager at StorQuest Self Storage is the first-line representative to customers in the absence of the Store Manager. This role involves assisting with daily operations, managing revenue, delinquency, occupancy, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers during challenging times
• Manage the rental process including converting sales, taking payments, selling merchandise, offering insurance, and guiding customers on their storage journey
• Perform minor maintenance and custodial duties, including cleaning vacated units
• Communicate with vendors for routine maintenance repairs
• Handle cash transactions, balance receipts, and process bank deposits
• Inspect stores daily, including lock checks
• Manage past-due accounts
• Work weekends as needed

Requirements

• 1+ years in Customer Service/Sales experience
• Tech Savvy is a plus
• Experience in Cash Handling required
• Available on weekends
• A huge passion for guest service and sales
• The ability to be a part of a team to support and motivate others
• A positive, outgoing personality
• An insatiable appetite to learn new things
• Strong accountability combined with strong work ethic and enthusiasm for teamwork
• Experience working in the retail or service industry preferred

• Ability to push up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Ability to lift above head frequently
• Ability to communicate in written and verbal format frequently

Pay

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour + Bonus Potential

Schedule

Regular and consistent attendance at the assigned location is required. Work weekends as needed.
