Stormwater Operator I or II

About the role

The role involves managing stormwater systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and performing maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate stormwater systems to ensure proper drainage and prevent flooding.
• Inspect and maintain stormwater infrastructure, including pipes, pumps, and catch basins.
• Document system performance and report findings to supervisors.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience in stormwater management or a similar field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of stormwater management principles and practices.
• Experience with stormwater equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with email and internet navigation.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
