Storeroom Clerk

About the role

The primary purpose of your position as Stores Clerk is to perform all duties related to Storeroom inventory control and distribution, in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by the Director of Materials Management or the Storeroom Supervisor to assure that a successful, viable department is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties related to Storeroom inventory control and distribution
• Work shifts including days from 8a-4:30p, with some flexibility in shift times
• Ensure accurate and timely inventory management
• Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient storeroom environment
• Follow established procedures and supervisor directives

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Good mathematical skills
• Good communication skills
• Some computer experience helpful but not required
• Experience in a hospital environment desired
• Some knowledge of inventory control and distribution preferred
• Licensed driver with a safe driving record
• Able to push and at times pull heavy loads
• Able to lift loads up to 75 lbs. at times
