Storeroom Clerk

About the Role

This role reports to the Purchasing Manager and is part of the Purchasing Department, responsible for procuring various items utilized by the hotel. The Storeroom Clerk checks incoming goods against delivery invoices, food specifications, and purchase records to ensure accuracy. They also issue food, beverage, and non-food goods to hotel departments based on requisition orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and fulfill requisitions while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Ensure proper stock rotation of perishable items.
• Receive and inspect deliveries of food, beverages, supplies, and equipment.
• Store items properly and maintain an organized loading dock and walk-in cooler.
• Keep accurate records of inventory received, issued, and remaining.
• Issue supplies to hotel departments accordingly.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Valid U.S. Work Authorization.

Qualifications

Direct involvement with both outside vendors and internal hotel management requires excellent communication skills. This position demands a high level of physical mobility, including the ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift and lift up to 30 lbs. Punctuality and dependability are essential in this early-start, fast-paced environment. Candidates must be available to work between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
