About the Role
Receives, stores, and issues equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and compiles stock records in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. This role encompasses all aspects of material movement throughout the production facility, including:
- Coordination of the movement of materials, actual material movement, and loading parts and final product for shipping.
- Tracking material, parts, etc., through designated areas and coordinating movement of material, parts, and assemblies.
- Manual use of forklift, scissor lift, and other equipment to properly move materials throughout the facility.
- Properly loading and unloading trucks.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background in material handling, inventory, and forklift driving preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) preferred.
- Experience leading 5S projects highly preferred.
- Knowledge of reconciling inventory highly preferred.
Skills
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one or small group settings.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of inventory software, manufacturing software, and word processing software.
