Storeroom Attendant Material Handler

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Raleigh, NC. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks
• Load, pick, pack, ship, receive, and unload trucks
• Auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and performing paperwork tasks
• Support the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong technical aptitude including using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, scanners, and entering orders into a WMS System
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Able to work both indoors and outside
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and as a member of a team
• Able to work within a diverse work environment
• Punctual and reliable attendance record
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

Pay

$17.12 per hour

Schedule

First Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; Monday through Friday
