Store Team Member (Cashier, Stocker, Animal Care)

Responsibilities
- Assist neighbors in selecting the perfect pet products, such as toys, food, and harnesses.
- Compare ingredient labels for pet food brands to address customer concerns.
- Educate customers on pet ownership, care, and product usage.
- Stock shelves and ring up purchases.
- Feed and care for in-store pets, ensuring their habitats are clean and well-maintained.
- Specialize in areas such as cashiering, stocking, or pet care:
- Cashier: Process purchases accurately, provide Preferred Pet Club membership information, and ensure customers don’t miss offers.
- Stocker: Unload delivery trucks safely, stock shelves, and assist customers with carrying purchases to their cars.
- Pet Care: Clean habitats, feed animals, handle pets, and answer customer questions about animal care.
Requirements
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Pass a drug screening (in applicable states).
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Support team members by acting as backup when needed.
- Be knowledgeable about animals and products to provide outstanding service.
- The role is physically demanding, requiring heavy lifting (40-65 lbs.) and standing for long periods.

Pay
USD $15.00–$15.50 per hour.
