Store Team Member (Cashier, Stocker, Animal Care)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, neighborly service at every opportunity.
• Stop to help neighbors select the perfect toy for their pets.
• Compare ingredient labels of food brands for concerned pet parents.
• Fit squirming pets with the right harnesses.
• Engage with sixth graders on bird ownership.
• Stock shelves and ring up purchases.
• Feed pets and keep their habitats spiffy.
• Support each other by acting as backup when extra help is needed.
• Be knowledgeable about animals and products to provide outstanding service.
• Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screening (in applicable states).
• Must be 16 years or older.

Pay

Min: USD $16.00/Hr.

Max: USD $17.00/Hr.

About the Role

Our team members are pet lovers who enjoy knowing everything there is to know about pets and their needs. The Store Team Member position requires physical demands such as heavy lifting (40-65 lbs.) and standing for long periods of time. We support learning through interactive Pet Degree programs where employees can earn pay for knowledge.
