Store Support Teammate (Part Time)

Join our team and help fulfill our mission: “to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” This role performs a variety of sales-support tasks assigned by the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and answer questions about the store and merchandise.
• Work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (e.g., the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas), based on store and business needs.
• Complete Guest transactions by operating Point of Sale (POS) software and bagging purchases.
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales, promotions, payment/exchange policies, and security practices.
• Monitor and recognize security risks and thefts; know how to prevent or handle these situations.
• Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser with merchandising tasks, such as preparing displays (up to ten feet off the ground), organizing fixtures, completing price markdowns, and transfers.
• Consistently maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store to support Buckle’s mission.
• Understand and apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics and all policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Deliver high levels of Guest service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Regularly work in a retail store environment with moderate noise levels.

Pay

Pay range: $14–$16/hour. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
