Store Support Teammate (Part Time)

About the role

The Store Support Teammate is responsible for creating the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for Guests. This role involves completing a variety of sales support tasks assigned by the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and days of/afterdays of Thanksgiving and Christmas, based on store and business needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) software and bag purchases.
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Monitor and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
• Aid in merchandising tasks such as preparing displays, organizing fixtures and shelving, completing price markdowns, and transfers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store to fulfill Buckle's mission statement.
• Understand and apply Buckle's Code of Ethics and all policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Perform job duties with a high level of Guest service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
• Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

No prior experience or training is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Pay range: $13-$15/hr. Final offers are based on various factors including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
