Store Support - SKIMS - Michigan Avenue

Store Support employees are passionate about fashion, energetic, and committed to delivering excellent customer service at the point of sale.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers over the phone and at checkout with sales, returns, and other transactions while delivering exceptional service.
• Maintain quick, easy, and enjoyable service by listening to customer needs and sharing fashion expertise.
• Collaborate as a team to keep the department “runway ready” by straightening, lightly cleaning, and restocking the cash wrap area and sales floor.
• Stay informed on key fashion trends and products to assist customers with purchase decisions.
• Build customer relationships by promoting upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, and the Nordstrom Rewards program.
• Support other store areas as needed, including order fulfillment and order pick-up.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new applications.
• Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Handling bulky or awkwardly shaped items, including reaching above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Pay

$17.45 - $18.15 hourly.
