About the role
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible Store Supervisor position supporting all aspects of store operations to ensure customers receive excellent service and quality. Our stores operate Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM and are closed on Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Manage store operations as assigned by the Manager and assume full operational control in the Manager’s absence.
- Assist in hiring and training associates, ensuring position expectations are met, and support staff development plans.
- Work and train in all front-of-house and back-of-house positions.
- Perform administrative tasks such as banking and scheduling meetings.
- Coach associates using established processes, including Huddles, Observation checklists, and Ham Evaluations.
- Execute store opening/closing procedures and generate daily/weekly reports.
- Manage and monitor labor, adjusting staffing based on business demands.
- Monitor production and sales efficiencies, including wait times, yields, and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation procedures, including hand dips, hair nets, gloves, aprons, and proper equipment use.
- Oversee stocking, cleanup duties, and FIFO rotation of all products in both front and back of house.
- Handle customer complaints to ensure 100% satisfaction according to company policy.
- Participate in catering and gifting sales, including B2B and catering processes.
- Lead merchandising transitions between promotions and ensure proper holiday and non-holiday setups.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 2 years of restaurant or service industry experience; prior supervisory experience recommended.
- 1-2 years of experience in a production facility or equivalent understanding of operations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for catering orders/deliveries.
- Physical ability to perform job demands, including bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, and lifting up to 65 lbs.
- Ability to work with a hot torch and maintain mobility throughout the store.
