Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain stores within your district, including customer service and property maintenance.
- Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
- Interact face to face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
- Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
- Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
- Work both independently and on a team to rent self-storage units, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments using the Point-of-Sale System (POS), complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
- Perform daily walks of the property, clean units and store grounds, open and close storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
- Maintain facility including mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
- Keep a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines (e.g., clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, clean and tidy storage doors, and neat decluttered office space).
Qualifications
- A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
- Experience in delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
- A self-driven mindset with a strong operational focus.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
- Ability to work Saturdays.
- Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
- Ability to frequently stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
- Some locations may require Sunday hours.
