Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profit by achieving retail store targets, implementing strategies, and promotions to increase traffic and sales.
• Create memorable shopping experiences by infusing positivity and inclusivity into every customer interaction.
• Become a trained piercing specialist: conduct piercings, educate customers on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions or concerns.
• Oversee store operations, including inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and promotional activities.
• Lead and develop your team by recruiting, training, managing, and fostering a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability.
• Represent the Claire’s brand with enthusiasm, offering fashion tips and ensuring the store reflects the latest trends to maximize sales.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of retail management experience.
• Physical ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
• Capability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while assisting customers and merchandising.
• Passion for providing customers with opportunities to express themselves freely every day.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and management.
• Strong grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
• Proven leadership with a positive attitude, self-motivation, and organizational skills.
• Passion for fashion and staying up-to-date with the latest trends to enhance the customer experience.
• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during your shift.
