About the role

The Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, influencing guest satisfaction and driving sales through exceptional customer service and strategic management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a multiunit store operation
  • Provide and model best-in-class guest service
  • Support the total shopping environment, including visual and operational elements
  • Process guest purchases/returns accurately and efficiently
  • Promote GameStop’s guest benefits and engage in recruitment and training
  • Schedule and supervise staff to ensure optimal guest service
  • Ensure store cleanliness, organize merchandise, and fulfill orders
  • Count, balance, and reconcile daily transactions, and handle inventory and shipping
  • Report injuries and maintain store records
  • Work collaboratively with military personnel on military bases

Qualifications

  • Proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the US
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of retail management experience
  • At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred
  • Video game knowledge preferred
