Vince is seeking a dynamic, customer service-driven Full-Time Store Manager for our Prince Street location. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, demonstrating leadership to maximize profits, sales, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed productivity and sales plan expectations
- Improve profitability by managing controllable expenses such as payroll, supplies, and shrinkage
- Set an example of exceptional customer service by leading sales efforts on the selling floor
- Teach and monitor associates in client development
- Recruit, train, motivate, and retain quality sales associates, ensuring bench strength for potential open positions
- Set goals and manage expectations by clearly communicating success metrics to staff
- Conduct monthly performance reviews with associates, discussing productivity vs. goals, coaching, and providing improvement suggestions
- Maintain high visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
- Perform daily paperwork reconciliation and other operational tasks
- Protect store assets and inventory, reconciling inventory to identify and reduce shrinkage
- Implement company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum three years of experience in retail management
- Full understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising, and store operations
- Computer skills, including operation of retail point-of-sale systems, Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 15 pounds and use ladders or stairs for merchandising
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to delegate responsibility and empower staff
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey company goals and objectives
- Positive, outgoing, high-energy personality with an entrepreneurial mindset, sales-focused, and takes full ownership of the store’s business
- Acts as a mentor and leader to staff and peers, developing individual strengths and identifying opportunities

Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and budget. Salary may vary based on geographic location. This position is also eligible for participation in a bonus program.
