Store Manager (Head Coach) - Nike Des Moines

About the Role

Behind every great team is a great coach. As a Nike Store Manager (Head Coach), you’re the face of NIKE. You’ll lead a high-volume, fast-paced team, guiding customers with your passion for sport and customer service. Your role includes training and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional experiences while representing Nike’s global culture of sport, community, and inclusion. You’ll drive store growth, build community partnerships, and ensure your team feels supported and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver the best customer experience while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
• Drive store growth strategies, sales, service, organization, and profitability goals while maintaining operational and safety standards.
• Cultivate a high-performing team culture with recognition and rewards.
• Oversee store operations, including P/L statements, labor management, expenses, activations, and programs.
• Collaborate with District Partners on enterprise-wide initiatives and programs.
• Ensure enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge about Nike products and services.
• Manage critical store metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, and people leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• Minimum of four years of store management experience.
• Experience with retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people leadership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Proven ability to utilize tools for conflict resolution, employee coaching, and counseling.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
