About the role
Join the Smoothie King team as a Store Manager and play a key role in contributing to our continued success. You will create and lead a highly productive environment, build a motivated team, and ensure an extraordinary guest experience with a focus on strategic, operational, and leadership excellence.
Responsibilities
- Enthusiastically hire, develop, and lead the team at your store to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission to inspire people to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Use operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statements, Daily Business Reviews, Cash and Deposit Logs, and Data Central scheduling and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers (inventory management, shipments, etc.).
- Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and adjust accordingly.
- Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in your store at all times; ensure all Team Members comply as well.
- Own and promote brand standards in alignment with company vision.
- Ensure store appearance and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with Smoothie King brand standards.
- Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring the team to meet operational standards.
- Develop local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including initiating community outreach through marketing and special events.
- Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments using existing tools and programs, as well as finding new, creative, and effective methods of recognition.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or a similar field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a store manager or supervisor of a team in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills—you are energized by working with people.

- Customer-first attitude with the ability to discover and respond to customer needs.
- A bias toward action—you do not hesitate to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
- Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, including a variety of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
