Store Manager

About the role

Responsible for managing store operations and staff to ensure efficient processes, merchandising, inventory control, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Provide performance feedback, conduct safety and conduct meetings, and support employee development.
• Oversee store opening and closing procedures, staffing, and safety protocols.
• Analyze sales and operational data to identify trends, control expenses, and optimize inventory levels.
• Manage merchandise presentation, stock levels, and store cleanliness for a positive shopping environment.
• Ensure cash handling, security, and safety procedures are followed to protect assets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a safe, organized store environment.
• Complete necessary documentation and maintain store tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management, cash handling, and merchandising practices.
• Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic math.
• Experience in retail management and familiarity with legal employment practices preferred.
• Bilingual skills may be advantageous depending on location.
