Store Manager

About the Role

Responsible for managing store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Ensures effective planning and implementation of processes such as ordering, stocking, merchandising, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.
• Train staff, conduct performance reviews, and address development needs or disciplinary actions.
• Oversee store opening and closing, maintain financial integrity, and control inventory levels.
• Analyze sales data, monitor expenses, and identify business opportunities.
• Maintain store presentation, merchandise displays, and signage according to company standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster a safe, clean shopping environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and safety policies.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience in retail management and familiarity with legal hiring practices preferred.
• Bilingual skills may be a plus at some locations.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds.
• Operating equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Occasional outdoor exposure and driving responsibilities for store-related tasks.
