Store Manager
About the role
As a Store Manager at Primark, you will be responsible for setting the store vision and direction, driving continuous improvement, and maximizing sales. You will also be accountable for motivating your team and ensuring they deliver exceptional customer service and store standards.
Responsibilities

- Maximize sales, maintain store standards, and motivate your team
- Manage inventory and coach teams to move product in accordance with customer demand
- Understand the local market by benchmarking against competitor's products, services, and practices
- Use insight to support strategic planning to improve store performance
- Drive commercial excellence to achieve sales budget and maximize sales within each department
- Develop your team to build optimal stock levels, maximize visual impact, and own the resource planning and scheduling process
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with managers, supervisors, and hourly colleagues in English
- Provide amazing customer service in English, including oral communication with customers and monitoring the performance of English-speaking colleagues
Requirements
You must have 5 years prior experience as a retail Store Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You should have excellent leadership and people management skills, experience in developing high-performing teams and future leaders, and the ability to analyze reports and guide teams to improve commercial performance.
Qualifications
You must be a true leader who can engage and influence stakeholders, act as a role model to motivate and inspire a team that exudes confidence and enthusiasm. You should demonstrate experience in empowering and enabling a team to deliver excellent customer service and store standards while maintaining effectiveness and focus on customer needs.
Skills
Strong planning and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work to agreed timescales. You must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, orally and in writing, with managers, supervisors, and hourly colleagues in English to provide instruction, coaching, corrective action, safety instructions, and lead teams as a manager daily and in emergencies.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $111,280 - $140,000. The base pay rate offered will account for internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a standard workweek.
