About the Role
As a Lennox Store Manager, you will lead a team of customer service associates to drive financial performance and operational excellence. You will collaborate with the sales team to exceed annual revenue targets and manage daily store operations while modeling excellent customer service. Your leadership will ensure clear communication of initiatives, priorities, and company strategy.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop the inside sales team and warehouse staff, emphasizing customer service and selling skills.
- Promote sales of replacement components and aftermarket products to dealers, contractors, and other business segments.
- Own the business in the local market, delivering on sales, growth, and profitability goals by partnering with Sales to pursue new opportunities.
- Maintain a customer-ready, professionally merchandised showroom, warehouse, building, and grounds.
- Coordinate daily shipments with transportation providers.
- Prioritize and promote an ongoing Environmental, Health, and Safety program.
- Manage and tailor inventory to local market needs, ensuring accuracy through cycle counting and operational excellence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of related experience.
- Ability to lead others and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Expert knowledge of HVAC systems strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers, dealers, sales, and operations partners.
- Strong business acumen to position the store within the market through promotions, customer contacts, outbound calls, and customer appreciation events.
Pay
This is a salaried exempt role with a starting salary range of $68,800–$90,300 annually, depending on geography, market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Eligible for an annual bonus under the Company’s applicable plan. Not eligible for overtime.
