About the role
We're looking for a Store Manager who can bring the fandom to life. Your responsibilities include leading the store to achieve sales targets, recruiting and developing a team, and managing operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure store achieves sales plan and/or comp sales goals
- Recruit, develop, and retain a team
- Create buzz and customer engagement through social media, store apps, and clienteling
- Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll, schedules, and external factors affecting business
- Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
- Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy
- Mentor, recognize, and provide feedback to staff
- Merchandise the store using planograms and launch promotions on time
- Adapt to new technologies and communicate company policies and procedures
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
- Skills in communication, recruiting, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising)
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent; a degree is preferred
- Ability to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and music trends
