Store Manager

As a Store Manager, you’ll lead the store in achieving objectives related to sales targets, team recruitment and development, and performance management. You’ll be a retail leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, develops talent, and delivers exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the store achieves sales plans and comp sales goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative and passionate team to run the store alongside you.
• Create customer engagement through social media, store web applications, and clienteling.
• Lead an operationally sound business with a balance of structure, delegation, autonomy, and customer-first selling practices.
• Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business.
• Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy for hitting sales targets.
• Adapt to new technologies, communicate company policies, and manage supply spending.
• Merchandise the store compellingly, using planograms as a guide, and launch all promos on time.
• Build a bench of talented staff through mentorship, recognition, and feedback.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience, leading teams to success.
• Skills in communication, recruiting, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising).
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent (a degree is a plus).
• Ability to adapt to the fast-changing retail industry and handle unexpected challenges.
• Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and music trends.
• Physical ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and handle boxes of up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation).
