Store Manager

About the role

Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families through the power of work. We provide job training, employment placement services, and other community-based programs by selling donated clothing and household items in our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily store operations, ensuring efficiency.
• Leadership, motivation, and development of a team of sales associates and assistant managers.
• Maintenance of high standards of customer service and resolution of customer inquiries and complaints.
• Achievement of sales targets and maximization of store profitability.
• Maintenance of visual merchandising standards and cleanliness of the store.
• Management of inventory levels, conducting stock audits, and replenishment.
• Implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
• Training and development of staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Handling of administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting.
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• A valid Driver's License is required.
• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet sales targets and manage a budget.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and retail management software.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
