Store Manager

As a Store Manager, you and the team you lead will be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll congratulate new parents and grandparents, introduce them to our baby essentials, help prep them for the first day of school, and support all the big and little moments on their parenting journey. Responsibilities

• Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting; develop succession plans by training and developing your team
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment; recognize performance to increase employee engagement
• Grow leaders by providing direction, delegation, and investing in their development
• Create a genuine customer focus on the sales floor by leading the Leader on Duty program
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features, and benefits
• Build customer loyalty by coaching the team on the benefits of customer participation in our Loyalty programs, including credit
• Execute the Company’s direction on merchandising and operations; manage payroll and budgets
• Understand and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify behaviors to drive results
• Seamlessly lead and integrate an omnichannel experience, ensuring teams are trained on available tools
• Reduce loss through consistent customer service, education, and operational controls

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of retail or related management experience leading direct reports
• A high school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods; climb up and down a ladder
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, with a minimum of two closing shifts a week
