As a Store Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing the fandom to life, leading the store in achieving sales targets, recruiting, development, and performance management. You’ll be a retail maverick who thrives in a fast-paced environment, develops talent, and delivers exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the store achieves sales plans and comp sales goals.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative and passionate team.
- Create customer engagement through social media, store web applications, and clienteling.
- Maintain operational excellence with a balance of structure, delegation, autonomy, and customer-first selling practices.
- Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business.
- Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback.
- Analyze sales reports and use data to guide strategy for hitting sales targets.
- Adapt to new technologies, communicate company policies, and manage supply spending.
- Merchandise the store compellingly, follow planograms, and launch promotions on time.
- Build a bench of talented staff through mentorship, recognition, and feedback.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience, leading teams to success.
- Strong skills in communication, recruiting, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising).
- Minimum age of 18.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (a degree is a plus).
- Ability to adapt to the fast-changing retail industry and handle unexpected challenges.
- Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and trends.
- Physical ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation).
Pay
$24.15 - $30.20 an hour. The pay range starts as listed, but final salary may vary based on factors such as education, location, experience, and meeting minimum job requirements.
