As a Store Manager, you’ll lead the store in achieving sales targets, recruiting, developing talent, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the store achieves sales plans and comp sales goals.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative and passionate team.
- Drive customer engagement through social media, store web applications, and clienteling.
- Maintain operational excellence with a balance of structure, delegation, and customer-first selling practices.
- Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business.
- Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback.
- Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy for hitting sales targets.
- Adapt to new technologies, communicate company policies, and manage supply spending.
- Merchandise the store compellingly, using planograms as a guide, and launch promos on time.
- Build a bench of talented staff through mentorship, recognition, and feedback.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience, leading teams to success.
- Skills in communication, recruiting, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising).
- Minimum age of 18.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (a degree is a plus).
- Ability to adapt to the fast-changing retail industry.
- Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and trends.
- Physical ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and handle boxes up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation).
Pay
The pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting. Final salary will be determined by factors such as education, location, experience, and meeting minimum job requirements.
