About the Role

We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Store Manager to lead our boutique, powered by the Leap Platform, located on Abbot Kinney opening August 2026. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on retail leader who is passionate about creating meaningful customer experiences, developing exceptional teams, and driving store performance.

As Store Manager, you will play a critical role in bringing the Bombas mission to life through an elevated and welcoming in-store experience. You will lead the daily success of the boutique by balancing sales performance, customer engagement, team development, and operational excellence. Through an authentic and visible leadership presence, you will inspire your team to deliver exceptional service while creating lasting connections with every customer who walks through the door.

Annual Pay Range: $71,000 – $80,000. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, competencies, and qualifications. This position is bonus eligible.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Store Performance & Sales Growth
  • Leverage sales insights and customer trends to identify opportunities and optimize store performance.

  • Build authentic customer relationships through product storytelling, personalized recommendations, and thoughtful engagement.
  • Inspire the team to create meaningful connections that drive customer loyalty and brand advocacy.
  • Develop & Inspire the Team
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing team through clear expectations, consistent feedback, and recognition.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and inclusion where team members feel empowered to succeed.
  • Support team growth through ongoing coaching, development opportunities, and meaningful career conversations.
  • Build Community & Brand Presence
  • Serve as a local brand ambassador by building relationships within the community and increasing brand awareness.
  • Support local events, partnerships, and in-store activations that strengthen customer connections and drive engagement.
  • Partner with neighboring Leap-powered stores and support market initiatives, including new store openings, onboarding, and sales coverage as needed.
  • Maintain Operational Excellence
  • Ensure consistent execution of brand standards across visual merchandising, store presentation, inventory management, and daily operations.
  • Manage scheduling, payroll accuracy, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes with attention to detail.
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and customer-ready store environment.

Position Requirements

  • 3+ years of retail leadership experience with a track record of driving sales results and leading teams.
  • Experience within boutique, premium, lifestyle, or customer-focused retail environments preferred.
  • Strong ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams through hands-on leadership and clear communication.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to create authentic connections and represent a brand’s mission and values.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret performance trends and make informed decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.
  • Experience with retail technology, including Shopify, Endear, Slack, and Google Workspace preferred.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel as needed.
  • Able to actively lead on the sales floor, including standing, walking, using ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
