Store Leader (Manager) Trainee

About the Role

As the Store Leader, you are the heart and soul of the store. Alongside one or two Assistants, you’ll lead the store’s leadership team in executing merchandising and marketing initiatives, driving profitability, developing the entire store team’s skills, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service. Many of our top managers began as cashiers or part-timers, advancing through hard work, training, and deep business knowledge. Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Implement all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Use P&L and store reports to drive change and improve store performance.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote our rewards loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures, ensuring the store is presentable and products are in-stock.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products such as Word and Excel preferred).
• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence and maintenance of automotive liability insurance during employment.
• Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

$15.00 - $19.75 hourly.
