As an Assistant Store Leader Trainee (Retail Assistant Manager), you’ll work as part of a management team, oversee store operations, and help shape the future of convenience. Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
- Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
- Handle cash, fuel transactions, and promote our loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures to ensure the store is presentable and products are in-stock.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer knowledge (Microsoft products such as Word and Excel).
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
- Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence and maintenance of automotive liability insurance during employment.
- Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
