Store Leader (Manager) Trainee

About the role

The Store Leader (Manager) Trainee at 7-Eleven is a dynamic role designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to lead and succeed in a fast-paced retail environment. You will undergo a comprehensive training program that covers everything from customer service to store operations, preparing you for a key operational role within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
• Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity.
• Oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Use P&L and store reports to affect change.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote our rewards loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and demonstrate interpersonal skills.
• Show proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel.

Requirements

To be considered for the Store Leader (Manager) Trainee role, you must have:

• A High School diploma or GED.
• One year of retail management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance.
• The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

While a High School diploma or GED is preferred, candidates with at least one year of retail management experience are encouraged to apply. Previous supervisory experience is a plus.

Pay

$19.58 - $20.98 per hour
