Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Aid in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote loyalty programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively and interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Perform tasks requiring physical effort, including bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with one year of Retail Management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in retail or similar field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty program management.
• Knowledge of health and sanitation procedures.
