Store Leader (Manager) Trainee
About the role
The Store Leader (Manager) Trainee at 7-Eleven is a dynamic role aimed at equipping you with the skills and knowledge needed to lead and succeed in a fast-paced retail environment. You will undergo a comprehensive training program that prepares you for key operational roles within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
- Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Use P&L and store reports to affect change.
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote our rewards loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A High School diploma or GED.
- One year of retail management experience.
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
- The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
While a High School diploma or GED is preferred, candidates with at least one year of retail management experience are encouraged to apply. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel, is required.
