Store Leader (Manager) Trainee

About the role

The Store Leader (Manager) Trainee at 7-Eleven is a dynamic role designed to empower you to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact in your store and community. You will embark on a structured training program that sets you up for success and prepares you for key operational roles within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
• Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Use P&L and store reports to affect change.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote our rewards loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and demonstrate interpersonal skills.
• Show proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A focus and dedication to your success.

• Previous supervisory experience.
• A High School diploma or GED, or at least one year of retail management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance.
• The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Essential qualifications include:

• Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change.
• Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
