Store Lead Repair Technician - Partnership Store (Google)

About the role
A Store Leader is responsible for establishing and maintaining guest services, overseeing and being accountable for the operation of a store to ensure maximum sales and profitability. Key focus areas include electronics repair volume, repair quality, inventory management, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest service.
- Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize repair volume and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
- Control inventory shrink, expenses, and payroll.
- Ensure appropriate inventory stock levels and project future inventory order levels.
- Review department/store trends and recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives using PC software.
- Maintain strong communication with direct supervisor and store staff via live coaching, emails, and phone communications.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-throughs, and audits.
- Continually evaluate and react to performance issues and actively recruit management candidates.
- Train and develop store management in all aspects of the business; direct and monitor training and development for all store personnel.
- Fix devices, process cracked glass, and test devices before and after repairs to ensure a low defective rate.
- Demonstrate strong mentoring and coaching skills to maximize employee performance and maintain a great and comfortable work environment.
- Maintain repair equipment and tools.
- Ensure all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises the retail store team of technicians and Store Lead.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional retail store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners.

Schedule
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may vary. Stores are open 7 days a week, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Travel
Occasional travel may be expected for this position.
Requirements
- At least one year of retail management experience.
- At least 6 months of electronic repair experience is preferred.
- At least 6 months of phone repair experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of previous retail experience.
- One year of previous management experience.
- Electronics repair experience of any kind.
