Pay range: $106,000.00 - $212,000. Pay is based on several factors including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

- Managing a large team of hourly team members and leaders, including leaders of leaders
- Recruiting, selecting, talent management, and talent planning across all store departments
- Guest service fundamentals and building a guest-first culture
- Retail business financials (e.g., payroll, profit and loss) and driving sales growth
- Creating store-specific strategies and managing teams to deliver results
- Understanding sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, promotions, and specialty businesses
- Setting and planning total store quarterly business priorities and managing teams to deliver on sales goals
- Making business decisions by assessing market competition, understanding guest insights, and feedback
Responsibilities
- Cultivate a guest-centric and engaged team.
- Lead a talent culture through active involvement in onboarding, development, and growth of leaders. Drive accountability through clear expectations and consistent performance management.
- In partnership with HR, create and deliver sustainable and equitable talent strategies to fuel career progression and team growth.
- Be approachable and available for your team; lead a culture where issues are quickly resolved.
- Recruit, hire, and retain a passionate team with area-specific knowledge and expertise.
- Oversee the scheduling process to meet business needs while providing a consistent guest experience and aligning with team member availability.
- Own and implement leadership schedules that align with guest and business needs, including weekends, mornings, evenings, overnights, and seasonal adjustments.
- Demonstrate and promote inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences.
- Invest in and follow up on personal and team training to enhance skills and capabilities.
- Model a welcoming experience by greeting guests and engaging with them to solve their specific needs.
- Drive a guest-obsessed culture balancing in-store and digital guests to deliver on sales and operational goals.
- Own your store’s overall business to drive efficiency, safety, and sales growth.
- Build and execute plans to run an efficient operation, addressing operational shortages and establishing clear goals.
- Leverage reports (financial, operational, safety, food safety, team, and guest) to understand the business and make decisions.
- Lead a culture of financial accountability through sales trends, payroll management, and team education on driving profitability.
- Assess competition and leverage guest insights to drive business and be the destination of choice.
- Build relationships important to the store’s community to address local needs.
- Set clear priorities for the team through balancing competing demands.
- Own the safety culture and performance for the store by modeling safe behaviors and addressing hazards.
- Validate an in-store security culture focusing on deterrence, response, and resolution.
- Ensure merchandise protection strategies are executed according to best practices.
- Follow all safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
- Address all store emergency and compliance needs.
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety (including food safety), and compliance; hold the team accountable.
Requirements
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team leadership and engagement
- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision-making, financial, and quantitative analysis
- Ability to manage conflict and hold others accountable
- Ability to relate well with and interact at all levels of the organization

- Climb up and down ladders as needed
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without assistance
- Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing job duties
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, and holidays) and reliable, prompt attendance
