General Responsibilities
- Maintain personal and written contact with the New Construction and Architectural Design teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive tracking schedules for assigned projects.
- Identify key milestones and critical path activities for ongoing projects.
- Ensure adherence to design intent, drawing accuracy, and current prototype changes.
- Prepare detailed site plans and conceptual drawings for feasibility studies and entitlement packages.
- Monitor prototype changes to keep projects up to date.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
- Establish clear communication channels between teams and provide timely updates on project progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Architectural Engineering or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years' experience in Architectural Project Management (required).
- 5+ years' experience designing retail or quick-service restaurants (with drive-thru) (preferred).
- CA registered Architect (preferred).
- Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and Bluebeam (required).
- Strong proficiency using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (required).
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and Smartsheet (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of architecture and building design (preferably in quick-service or restaurant design), state and local building codes, and ADA compliance (required).
- Intermediate knowledge of structural, civil, and MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) (required).
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents (required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required).
- Demonstrated professionalism and accommodating manner (required).
- Flexibility and adaptability to constant change based on business objectives (required).
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency (required).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills (required).
- Ability to work autonomously and independently, yet be an integral part of an overall team environment (required).
