Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities, when needed.
• Assist departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational, and stay current with new services and tools.
• Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the mission of helping people on their path to better health.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly.
• Having close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections involving small parts/details.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required.

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to handle cash and credit card transactions, and teamwork are essential.

The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 - $23.00 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
