The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and assisting in the pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and professionalism
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, managing inventory, and interacting with vendors
- Support store operations by opening and closing the store, and assisting in other departments as needed
- Stay informed about new CVS services and loyalty programs to enhance customer experiences
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy to gain valuable experience and career development opportunities
Requirements
- Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, and using visual acuity to read and inspect small parts
- Age requirement: At least 16 years old
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to handle cash transactions, and teamwork are essential.
