About the role

The Retail Store Associate position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service in a leading retail setting. This role focuses on customer satisfaction, inventory management, and supporting various departments within the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain eye contact and offer assistance to customers as needed.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory under the direction of the store manager.
• Support store operations by assisting with opening and closing activities.
• Offer support to departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of professional development opportunities.
• Advocate for and assist with new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements: remaining upright on feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly.
• Visual acuity: close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.
