About the role
The Retail Store Associate position plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service in a leading retail setting. You'll work both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with warmth and care
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed
- Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our mission
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
- Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $21.57 - $28.57 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
